About Ida B. Wells

Ida B. Wells was an African-American investigative journalist, educator, and an early leader in the civil rights movement who led an anti-lynching crusade in the United States in the 1890s. She went on to establish several civil rights organizations and became integral in groups striving for African American justice. She was also a passionate advocate for women’s rights and suffrage standing up for women being successful in the workplace and having equal opportunities.

Shrunk in the dryer

Beautiful colors and a beautiful stretch to the fabric. Does not pill or fade. My only complaint is that it shrinks when you place it in the dryer.
