About Ida B. Wells

Ida B. Wells was an African-American investigative journalist, educator, and an early leader in the civil rights movement who led an anti-lynching crusade in the United States in the 1890s. She went on to establish several civil rights organizations and became integral in groups striving for African American justice. She was also a passionate advocate for women’s rights and suffrage, standing up for women being successful in the workplace and having equal opportunities.

Not the color on the screen

I chose this t-shirt because I wanted a subdued color instead of all the bright pink and purple since I'm an adult. I know colors vary by screen but both on my phone and two different computers this looks like a muted pink, more like a blush. The color is a bright light peach. I don't like it at all. Plus the print is a thick vinyl applique that looks hard to care for and will feel sticky in the summer if you go outside in Texas. I also sized down and it is still huge. I'm keeping it but I'll wear it only in the winter under a cardi or an open button down shirt. I was thinking of buying more but after seeing the quality the two I bought are my last two.
