meet polly fern
Polly Fern is a freelance illustrator, ceramicist and canary keeper. She lives in a pink Georgian house on the Norfolk/Suffolk border in the UK, where she creates her illustrations and ceramics from a studio in her garden. Polly takes her inspiration from local, historical and childhood stories.
She illustrates and translates her work into one of a kind vases, platters and plates. Each piece is designed, handmade and finished by Polly. Her work has been displayed in various galleries around the world, such as The MET Museum in New York, The Sainsbury Centre in Norwich, The New Craftsmen in London and is continually showing with the design company Tonkachi in Japan. Polly is currently working on her first solo pop-up exhibition in London, and continually works on design and illustration collaborations and collections.
Polly takes her inspiration from local, historical and childhood stories.
