Meet Julia Kuo

Julia Kuo is a Taiwanese-American illustrator who has worked with the New York Times, Wall Street Journal and Google.

Julia was the visual arm of Chicago's 2017 March for Science, has had the honor of being an artist-in-residence at Banff Centre for the Arts in 2014 and in 2017, and is currently a recipient of the Gray Center Mellon Collaborative Fellowship at the University of Chicago.

She has illustrated a dozen specialty and children's books such as The Sound of Silence by Katrina Goldsaito.

When she's not at her desk drawing, she enjoys rock climbing and hiking in the mountains.
